Whether you want the quintessential Cambridge backdrop or something wilder, there's a location to suit every family.
I'm based locally in Cambridgeshire, so there's no travel charge for Cambridge sessions. I work in a relaxed, child-led way — no forced poses, just genuine moments that reveal who your family really is. Golden hour sessions in the summer (6–8pm) are particularly magical in the meadows around Grantchester.

When is the best time to book a family session in Cambridge+
For the best light and colours for your family shoot in Cambridge, autumn or spring are ideal. You'll find gorgeous conditions around Grantchester Meadows, or perhaps along The Backs & River Cam! Summer offers fantastic golden-hour evenings, but booking a few weeks ahead secures your preferred time slot.
What if my children won't cooperate?+
It’s entirely common for little ones to have other ideas! My approach is all about capturing genuine moments, so I don’t try to force poses or direct children. Instead, I observe and photograph how they naturally play and interact with each other – that's where the most authentic images are found.
Which Cambridge location would you recommend?+
It depends on your family's personality and what kind of images you want. I'm happy to advise based on your preferences — contact me and we'll find the perfect spot.
Can we bring our dog?+
Absolutely — dogs are very welcome. They often add the best moments of the session. Just let me know in advance so I can plan the location to be dog-friendly.
How long until we receive our photos?+
Once the shoot is complete and I’ve begun editing, you can expect your personal online gallery to be available around ten working days later. At that point, I’ll send you a direct link so you're able to download all the high-resolution images yourself.
