When is the best time to book for a newborn session?+
During pregnancy — ideally from 28 weeks onwards. This secures a date around your due date. I'll confirm the exact session time once baby arrives, working to the 5–14 day optimal window when babies sleep most deeply.
Do you travel across all of Suffolk?+
Yes. I cover all Suffolk postcodes — Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Woodbridge, Sudbury, Felixstowe, Haverhill, Stowmarket, Newmarket, and everywhere in between. Travel within 30 miles of Cambridge is included; a fuel supplement applies further into Suffolk.
How long does a newborn session take?+
Lifestyle home sessions typically run 2–4 hours — following baby's rhythm, accommodating feeds, settling time, and sibling portraits. There is no rush and no fixed endpoint.
What is your editing style for newborns?+
Soft, warm, and documentary — natural skin tones, gentle light, honest emotion. No heavy artificial filters, no over-processed looks. The photographs are designed to look beautiful in 20 years as well as today.
Can siblings and pets be included?+
Absolutely. Siblings often make for the most meaningful images — the first meeting, the tender curiosity. Pets are welcome too. Let me know in advance so I can plan the session appropriately.
